Ummm What the hell?

Umm, When i try to download phpBB 2.1.x from

When i get to the installation, i put all the info down etc. And it all Stuffs up. I cant get passed the Installation.

I had a forum problem there. Niels had to e-mail the phpBB2 Forum installation because i couldnt download it off his site because for me it wouldnt update, or as he said im running a Proxy Server and its stopping me from downloading the lastest files?

Any ideas?

Yes, don't use 2.1.x unless you a) understand it's alpha quality software with no support at this time and b) are comfortable with manually manipulating the database to account for changes in schema, etc.

A beta will be released in due course which will be more suited to general users.

We heavily recommend that you do not use these snapshots unless you are very comfortable with manual database work, editing of PHP files, etc. Absolutely no support is offered for phpBB 2.1.x releases, not even Milestones.

Things may well be (very!) broken from time to time, _do not post_ asking when these will be fixed, you'll receive no answer.
