Able to view topic titles but not view the topic?

I'd like the ability to let anyone see the list of topic titles in a forum (viewforum) but not see the content of posts (viewtopic) unless they're in a specific group. AFAIK there is no way to do that in 2.0

Anyone know if this will be in 2.2, or should I develop a mod for it?

this is SO NECESSARY

hopefully the phpBB team will strongly consider this and impliment it.

Having said that, I've realised that this is a very easy mod to apply. Just add the 'must be logged in' code to the beginning of viewtopic.php

I could see how some admins might find it useful. I think seeing it as an additional permission option would be a lot more useful than adding code to viewtopic as suggested, especially if you only want to apply this to a couple of forums. An instance I can think of is at vb.org, where you can view the titles of hack threads, but can't actually view the topic. Something similar to that.
