[b533c8]Chit Chat
Want to chit chat about anything, do it here[/b533c8]

You know, I've not being using this phpBB for very long, RC3 for a day before RC4 was made available, I was just getting use to a few things when a final is released.

I would just like to thank those who have helped,

And those who lock my topic because its in the wrong place or wrong forum who have not helped at all.

I guess this forum is not a place you can ask questions, without someone saying you are in the wrong place or asking the wrong questions.

I understand your frustration, but you just got caught in an upgrade - both software and websites.

Please feel free to bring your questions over to phpBB Support at the other website.

Take the opportunity to explore and contribute to our new community at www.phpbb.com.

Hope to see you there.

[quote1bee2="The Page Header"]Welcome to the phpBB2 development board. Your first stop should be the Announcements forum. If you want to report a bug please visit our bug tracker, do not post them to the forums! [b1bee2]Please note, this is [color=red1bee2]not a support board[/color1bee2], if you have questions, comments, etc. about phpBB 2.0.x please visit our main website, http://www.phpbb.com/[/b1bee2]. 1, Well if visitors get it wrong, then I don’t think the descriptions are doing the job

2, No I never enjoyed my visit, and find its moderators quite hostile, no matter what visitors say, you will always be right.

I'm out of here

So... should that be 'letmeoutforgodsake' then?
I'm sorry, I couldn't resist[/size5c19c]

But seriously, don't blame any of the moderators for the fact that YOU can't be bothered to even read where you're posting. They DID point you to the right place.

 I'm not an easy person but sometimes I think it's the users' problem.
Don't know what the big Admins and Devs think but well, I for myself don't need every possible user and I'm fine when they go buy vBulletin or use another good free board.

I think everyone knows my opinion on these things :D The other devs, admins and moderators freely give their time and users need to respect this. I've made it quite clear in the index header that this board is [ba85d1]not[/ba85d1] a support forum and should not be used as such. Sure, if the other site goes down the odd post of "Any idea when the other board will be back up?" is fine but anything more is pushing it a little.

While I hope that users pick phpBB 2.x as their forum solution ultimately it makes no difference to me one way or another whether they use it or not. The only thing I get from working on this board is a warm fuzzy feeling :D

And frankly, re-opening a closed thread is just rude. The dev's didn't just close your thread arbitrarily. There was a good reason for it and you should respect that.
Need good web hosting? I recommend Hostrocket.

I'm going to have to agree with the mods on this one... If this sort of thing happened every once in a while it would be understandable but it seems to happen every day and when that occurs anyone would get annoyed.

That's your dinner burning in the oven and setting the kitchen on fire while you code. ;)
