Since it wouldn't work in the vast majority of cases, it would be a waste of time.Martin Blank wrote:Would it be too much of a temptation for the mods if the devs added a street address lookup in addition to IP address lookup?
I think the address infomation for the users ISP is likely to be on the lookup page in any case.

Maybe they could make it so we don't need to open another page to do the look up

See, what I entered before is what is commonly called a "joke." It was a dual reference to both the ongoing development of a relatively full-featured software package and the annoying (but common) practice of asking about release dates.
And in case there's any confusion, the contents of this post are what is commonly called "sarcasm."
You can never go home again... but I guess you can shop there.

Well, I thank you for conveying it oh so oboviously and accurately.Martin Blank wrote:Yeah...the_dan wrote:Since it wouldn't work in the vast majority of cases, it would be a waste of time.Martin Blank wrote:Would it be too much of a temptation for the mods if the devs added a street address lookup in addition to IP address lookup?

May I also say that your sense of humor is unrivaled by any of the great comedians of now, or at any time in history. In fact, I would even say that you are on a par with Leprosy, in terms of humor. I'm not sure which I would enjoy most - Having leprosy, or listning to your oh so hilarious jokes about IP lookups.
I just wish I was as funny as you.
