there is no set date because the dev people do not want to rush this amazing product

An uncommited estimated would be nice.
Like "hopefully before the end of the year" - or something like that.
Just so you know if you should wait a few months until you switch to phpbb, or do it now and upgrade when it comes.

Perhaps I need to ask in another way. I just wanted to hear if I should wait a bit for 2.2, or if I should just use 2.0.10 for now and then upgrade.
From the sound of it, I should probably just use 2.0.10 now, and upgrade when 2.2 comes. I just hoped that anyone with more insight in the process, or experience with phpbb and tried upgrading previously would care to comment.
