On installation in the mysql_schema.sql file there's a field missing and it makes the installation fail.
In phpbb_users table the field user_colour is missing.
I added
user_colour varchar(6) DEFAULT '' NOT NULL,
I'm also runnning this board with php 5 installed and I saw a lot of session errors on installation but it does'nt seems to make the installation fail...
Hope this help.
If u need any other help u can ask me I got some time for coding and I love this board.

Re: Installation Error
You can't. The rules right at the top of the posting page say clearly:
Don't discuss new features, report bugs, ask for support, etc.
When the code reaches some form of beta or release candidate status, then the developers will specifically ask for bug reports. Until then, it's pointless to bring up issues about code that is in such constant flux.

You can never go home again... but I guess you can shop there.
Re: Installation Error
I also noticed the message about user_colour and had to do the same, it was in the older cvs so i copied the line from there so it would install, later on i noticed that the mysql_schema file had less lines in it than the previous cvs which had user_colour in there. Strange
Re: Installation Error
CVS code is work in progress and is made available publicly as a courtesy. Support questions, "bug fixes," and "bug reports" are unhelpful at this stage in phpBB 2.1/2.2 development. Thanks.

Re: Installation Error
I don't see it with Firefox, nor do I see some other things. If I knew that before.... But I see it with Internet Explorer.Martin Blank wrote:The rules right at the top of the posting page say clearly:
