Search result jump to post

I had an issue on a 2.06 board and came and look if it was solved in the 2.1 edition. If not mistaking, it is not.

When a search is done you get the results as default by topic. If clicked it jumps to the beginning of the topic. Maybe it is useful to make a jump/link to the first relevant(search result) post in that topic. This is a feature for large topics. Otherwise you have to browse the whole topic to find the post with the matching searchword.

ok sorry it's dealt with when you do a display by as posts.
But still would be a jumplink be nice

While I concur that a "jump to first matching post" link would be indeed useful, this should be in the request tracker. It might already be there given the uses of this.
