This board

How do you guys upgrade this board as you go without losing posts and all? I tried doing that with a CVS snapshot and just saving the phpbb_forums and phpBB_posts tables in the database, but if there is an added feature that deals with those tables it does not work. How do you guys do it? Or do you just add features to this board as you go?

Just curiose.
Thanks,

They update the table structure directly. The question is rather broad.

Or they just overwrite the existing scripts and update the tables manually.

I think they just update the tables in phpMyAdmin as they add new features...

Hint: Look in the develop folder in the snapshots. There are a few of the tools used to carry out some of the more major changes like merging tables.
