This year, and that's as far as anyone will commit to. There are a few guestimates from one of the developers, but there will be no release date until it is actually finished.

Dryw Filtiarn wrote:How would I be able to convert the database from version 2.0 to this new 2.1/2.2 board? I have found a piece of code that would enable me to import the users that have registered on the 2.0 board. But how can I import the forums/topics/posts into the new 2.1/2.2 database structure?

To me it seems as if it isn't just a case of importing but that I have to do some conversions as well.

Maybe there would be a possibility to give me some clues on fields in the tables that are linked so I might be able to build my own conversion script for this?
I need only the users table!! :D

Can you send me that code??

I urge others to ignore this request as phpBB2.1 CVS should not be used in a production enviroment.

If you have sufficient skill in PHP/*SQL to write a conversion script for yourself, grand... otherwise, don't use unsupported CVS code.

Was that in response to my post on the first page?
2.0.8a is out now... so don't install 2.0.7 unless you don't like being up to date :P.

Yes!

Got a little confused with the posts... but it was funny and worth the response.

We need a little more humour in the posts... they are often a little 2 serious.
