Ok first, sorry about my other thread, and I will try to keep this one flame free. First, no I am not reporting a bug, and yes I know to post feature requests at sourceforge, and I know that there is no support for CVS, and I know there is no set date for 2.2 so please dont tell me any of that!!!!!!
Ok anyways, I took a look at VB and IPB's latest and I found some features they had that the current CVS does not, I came up with a list of like 15 features, would it be frowned upon to post that many in the sourceforge thing?
thanks

Re: question about feature requests
Look through what has been requested. There is a good chance that most have already been rejected for one reason or another.

Funny : before even asking your question, you give the answer .
Re: question about feature requests
I do not see that. Where did I answer if it was frowned upon to post a whole list of features in the sourceforge thing? Where do you see that?Ptirhiik_ wrote:Funny : before even asking your question, you give the answer .
LMAO these phpBB boards are somethin...........
EDIT: or perhaps I should say the members. Not all members but most. I think the reason why you say I already answered it was becuase all some people have to do is *beep* about how to not ask for CVS help, or post feature requests here, etc., you get so caught up in that when someone asks a real question you dont know how to answer in any other way.
Look at my origional question. Then look at your post. I hope you see how dumb that was. Anyways, I will take the other guy's advice and see if it had been already posted and then I am just going to post whatever has not been already.

Re: question about feature requests
... is the answer to your question : the devs will see if there is any value in integrating them as a possible feature for the standard version. Isn't the purpose of a request feature tracker ? (although I think it wouldn't be a good idea to ask for a feature in this way : "useful xxx seen in ipvB" IMHO )(../..)and yes I know to post feature requests at sourceforge(../..)
Re: question about feature requests
Ah I see, well I was asking if that would annoy them to post that much at one time.Ptirhiik_ wrote:... is the answer to your question : the devs will see if there is any value in integrating them as a possible feature for the standard version. Thanks for the advice, but I was not planning on saying seen in VB etc. I am definatly going to post the feature and say why, and how it could be used, why it is usefull etc. So anyways, I guess it would not be bad to post alot at once. Just as long as I dont post ones already posted of course

Wow. Bump topic works in here. Sorry, wont happen again, no one would want it disabled again .
Hmm I wonder why they dont have the bump topic be in the first post. oh well. does not matter now.
