I assume 2.2 will still be free right? If so, DAMN!!!!!!!!!!! IM SO HAPPY!!!! This really could be a seriouse competitor to VB. Maybe not 3.0, not sure, but still, it is awsome! Even if I had a 160 dollar VB license I might prefer to run 2.2 over VB.

Also, as for the "you guys suck" thread, that guy should never be allowed to download phpBB ever again in his life..........if he was serious.

In my way of thinking of it, it is kinda like someone offering a pack of starbursts to someone and they freak out and curse at you becuase you didn't unwrap it fast enough lol.

AJD is quite right. As Paul has pointed out in the past, even if disaster struck and the current devs somehow didn't want to continue phpBB, it's open source license would allow others to pick up the torch. You can't say that open closed source projects.

I agree, this could really compete with vB! Only thing its missing is a WYSIWYG editor :D

Phpbb team, creaters designers etc are great argree there..

Phpbb team are here continuing, creating a better and
more feature packed forum for anyone who would like one.. :)

Thanks for phpbb2 looking forward to phpbb2.2 and the future ;)
