Nothing works

Post by StevenlAFl »

I installed the snapshot, and configured it. I can't access anything but the Admin Panel. Everything else just goes to a blank screen. I click on Log-In for instance, and it goes to a blank screen. Can someone help me?

Sorry, but you will not be able to recieve support to fix your problem, since it is a CVS snap shot.

Well, I won't say mine work perfectly fine, they are functionable. For one, I can't get forums to delete yet, along with a few other problems. But what do you expect for something that's not finished?

I had the same problem when I first installed it. But since it is just a snapshot, you'll have to set several things manually.
Also, don't forget to give the right permissions to certain files/directories (CHMOD): cache, files, store and config.php

Works great here so far, can't wait for the final version to be publically released

It is indeed to do with file permissions on your server/webspace.

When you use an FTP programme, like CuteFTP, you can always see a collection of permission codes behind every file, something like DRWXRWXRWX
or -RW-RW-RW and so on...

There's plenty of sites which explain the way these work, here one as an example: http://www.december.com/unix/ref/chmod.html
