I've looked and cannot find a list of the expected features of 2.2 I want to check before submitting a request at sourceforge. Any idea where this list is?

I agree that would be nice if there was something that showed a list of what exactly there was. I think that should be part of the sourceforge tracker, just have every new feature implemented listed.
I was wondering about the late requests thing myself, how do we know if they are actually going to implement the feature, if they are working on it, if they decide not to, etc? Or I do we just have to find out ourselfs when it goes RC?

It's really a list of what can certainly be expected in the next major release. Of course, it isn't stopping them from adding other goodies as has been seen lately. That's not to say that they'll drop a few things. It's best to just sit tight and wait.

It's a shame people don't spent time looking around this board or the main board ... rather than posting "I think ..." posts all the time 
If they did they'd save themselves, and us some time.
A run down of currently implemented features is contained in the feature update announcement at the main board. It also includes an overview of some upcoming features. You'll also discover that we will not disclose all the intended features ... in the past such lists of features have "miraculously" appeared on other boards trackers ... and there are some things we'd like to actually introduce "first"
