feature request
I dont want to do a feature request on sourceforge if the feature already exists or is already planned, so I was wondering, will there be a way to edit users post counts via the ACP?

Why not simply not cheat ?modenaf1 wrote:I dont want to do a feature request on sourceforge if the feature already exists or is already planned, so I was wondering, will there be a way to edit users post counts via the ACP?
I think it is so easy to do using phpMyadmin, that it should not be made...(I mean, not a feature)

heh I never thought of phpmyadmin, but it shouldn't be too hard to do to make it a feature. Just wondering if it is already planned, but oh well, forget it, im not even going to bother becuase if it is, great, if it isn't im sure there will be a hack, hell, I could probably make one myself.mansuetus wrote:Why not simply not cheat ?modenaf1 wrote:I dont want to do a feature request on sourceforge if the feature already exists or is already planned, so I was wondering, will there be a way to edit users post counts via the ACP?

If you have admins which want to change this - and you dont want to give them direct access to the database (i never give anyone access), then they simply cannot. If people want to be able to do this, it should be a feature in the ACP.
With features, best add to the feature request @ SF - if its already been submitted, little harm will be done...

I meant one bullet from psoTFX for resubmitting a similar feature in the tracker as apposed to sixty three from his sub-machine gun for submitting a feature request here.DoD wrote:With features, best add to the feature request @ SF - if its already been submitted, little harm will be done...

Re: feature request
If you haven't already, submit this.
You can't just edit the database entry, because then your stats get ridiculously thrown off.
Not to mention I wouldn't give anyone access to my database either.

Re: feature request
Why on Earth would you want to anyway? A good Karma system can solve all the problems associated with post counts.
