Yup, looks as though the modules have started...

I'm currently writing a portal myself for phpbb2.2... not going so bad so far... news done... links done... but i'll save all this for when phpbb is more finish and also the portal too But it will be different to the one's these guys are developing (for a start, it wont be as advanced ) and its more like Minerva for 2.0.x... like an "alternative" to the official one...

Looks interesting though... but there isnt much done yet, and its only just started... so it will be some time till we gate a taste of what it will be like!

Here we go again. A portal is a front page or main page for a site. It has modules that will allow you to perform functions like a calendar, email, news, articles, auctions, and just about anything you can imagine.

I think a great mod would be an auction. I have look at some. I have played with some code. I might try to write one myself.

And 2.2 is soooo nice to work with. It is perfect coding... everything needed is there... Coding has never been as easy!
