Text Size in IE (view text size)

Post by kazuki »

Hi,

I notice that you can adjust the text size on the viewing the forum. (View - Text Size = large, medium etc.). I think this can be set on the CSS to make the font size fixed.

Just a thought. ;)

It was changed from fixed to changable so that people could change it if they couldn't read the text. :)

...it's actually illegal (at least, here in the UK) to have a fixed text size as it infringes on the rights of the disabled.

Just a little fact ;)

erm, most browsers handle fixed point text size changes fine. However IE doesn't handle it well at all. That's why I changed things in this refresh of subSilver. There was nothing "illegal" about what existed ... if people are do not to use the most appropriate tools for their situations that isn't really the fault of web designers.

It's not illegal, however you are encouraged to create sites that are disabled-user friendly :)

uuh, i love this quote, in fact i can not understand why IE is being used at all - when creating websites, any browser renders the site as i wish or as it should, any browser except IE ... creating well rendered IE sites costs time, and serenity, it is what i hate when creating websites because the working of IE seems to be kinda irrational when youre used to view pages with software what you can call a browser, in fact IE is an explorer, perhaps that's the reason why it does not work as intended 8O
