I would like to request this officially in the proper area (if it hasn't been already), but has there been any consideration to providing for Slashdot-style rating dispositions (like "Interesting", "Informative", "Off-topic") to associate with the Good or Bad choices? I sincerely want to know why I've have a post of mine rated one way or another, so I can learn from that.

Any thoughts?

I would like to request this officially in the proper area (if it hasn't been already), but has there been any consideration to providing for Slashdot-style rating dispositions (like "Interesting", "Informative", "Off-topic") to associate with the Good or Bad choices? I sincerely want to know why I've have a post of mine rated one way or another, so I can learn from that.

Any thoughts?

I proposed this strongly when the topic was discussed for the first time. The Karma system may still change, IIRC it was originally planned for M4 and this is just a test run (for finding the best algorithm, etc.). We'll have to wait and see.
