Re: Authorised VS. Authorized
It's hardly bad grammer,
ooh ooh, I have to show nuttzy, proof of ignorant US people
ahh well, I personally like the fact that the default language pack is English Uk rather than English US. You have my personal support for your UK grammer (which is what en-AU is based on).
ize is american
ise is UK,... ( * - US

English UK gets my vote too

Re: Authorised VS. Authorized
There's sort of a small subculture of people who are starting to spell words using the -ise ending here in the US. I myself seem to flip back and forth depending on my mood.Davidls wrote:ize is american

Re: Authorised VS. Authorized
Or, for those of us who don't know how to spell at all, flip a coin when typing 'authorize' ;)

Re: Authorised VS. Authorized
Here's the solution...
Open: language/en/lang_main.php
Find:
Replace with:
... and likewise for other occurrences of "authorised."
That way, every time something with "authori[s/z]ed" in it is to be displayed, it will come out pseudorandomly as either "authorized" or "authorised."
Better idea: Include US and UK English language files by default.
Open: language/en/lang_main.php
Find:
Code: Select all
'Not_Authorised' => 'Not Authorised',
Code: Select all
'Not_Authorised' => ((rand(0, 1)) ? 'Not Authorised' : 'Not Authorized'),
Better idea: Include US and UK English language files by default.
fun, sigs work!!!
