Polling Data
I would like to know voted and what they selected in the vote. Will the available or will I have to hack/mod to get it?

Re: Polling Data
There's a hack available for 2.0.4. I don't remember what it's called; look on phpbbhacks.com. This is a privacy issue, though, so if you install this hack on a live board, you should notify your users.

Re: Polling Data
I prefer the idea of not disclosing who voted for what.
If people want others to know, they usually reply to the topic to explain their choice.

Re: Polling Data
It be nice to put further limits on polls such as number of posts before you can vote in polls. I guess with the events system it would be possible, when users reach X posts they become a member of "Voters" group which has the ability to vote.
A tad complicated but I guess the power is there

Images in sigs! please.
Re: Polling Data
I use polls for a lot of stuff on my website and I need to know at least who has voted. Maybe you dont want to know, but I need to. It would still be nice if it was there and an option was available to turn it off.

Re: Polling Data
ok, so you are saying, who has voted in the poll, and not what they have voted for. that would be good because it would still keep their vote confidential unless they want to tell you in their post. that'd be good.
Re: Polling Data
Either way is fine with me. The polls I use are with a close group of people (about 10 and knowing who voted what is not a security issue with us.)

Re: Polling Data
Recording who voted for what is a 'must' for me. For one thing, it allows people to change their mind about how they voted.
Give the admin the choice. Each Board owner can judge whether their users will be worried about privacy or not. Let's face it, they're already trusting the admin with personal data like email addresses and date of birth!

Re: Polling Data
id like it if the admin could see who voted for what... give them an idea of which people prefer which things.
