I also ask myself... It has been in the works for almost 10 years now.

It would be nice if we got an induction. In the course of 2024, 2025 or just add another 5 years, etc.

phpBB 4 will be available when it is ready, you can follow its development here: https://github.com/phpbb/phpbb/milestone/11

In the meantime, update your forums, because there is no point in worrying about the development of version 4 when you use a forum in version 3.0.14, keep busy.

I like the new avatar adjustment functionality that was added to this new version of phpBB4 that this site runs.

I'm a lot more patient than I used to be, so they should take all the time they need.

a1 as in Alpha 1, so more Alphas, or Beta's. for now.
