Searching *all* posts on a forum

Post by _Chris_ »

Hi all, if you wanted your users to be able to search on *all* posts in a forum, regardless of whenever they were posted, how would you do it please?

Support for 3.2 questions should be asked on the main board: https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewforum.php?f=556

Not even sure we understand the question since searching through all posts in a forum is exactly what the search form indicates it does.

It's okay, all solved. But what would you do if Google only indexes the posts from the last six months, and the forums have been going for ten years with half a million posts please?

If you're asking how to improve your indexing on search engines then you should post on our main site: https://www.phpbb.com/community/index.php

Area 51 is for phpBB development-related discussion.
