Hehe, I also love as_oilrig, only map where I almost always lead the scoreboards. But I haven't played CS for a few months. Perhaps it's time to dedust and polish my MP5.

Well, at least the feedback on my logo is a little more positive than the feedback to Ian's logo was... :)

Images can be resized, retooled, whatever - it's a Photoshop file, I can still edit anything I want. Needs more glow? Different lettering? Some tweakage on the patterns? C'mon, guys... gimme advice on how it could be better, not just "kewl stuff"... unbiased opinions are the only ones I can trust, cuz my own is (obviously) influenced by personal feelings :)

Just a bump for my phpBB Clan logo, version 0.2.

Changes since 0.1:[list38939][*38939]The smaller lettering now pops out instead of being recessed - it was ugly the other way.[*38939]The metal texture is now barely visible in the letters phpBB, suggesting that it was actually pressed into the metal.[*38939]The cloud filter in Photoshop was used for a background.[*38939]The wording was changed.[*38939]The glow, colours, bevels, shadows, lighting, textures, and everything else were tweaked.[/list38939]
Updated thoughts for an updated logo?

1) I hate as_oilrig. I normally do all right on it as a T, but tend to always get stuck as the VIP when i'm a CT. as_tundra is a better VIP map, but it does tend to turn into an AWP *beep*-fest.

Black Pit: Your hiding place wouldn't work on Ars, not enough newbes there :)

gooseneck: I play on server.arsclan.net, its the CS server for http://www.arstechnica.com. There are alot of great players there you should stop by :)

Heh, I do okay as VIP...at least I don't camp in the middle of the spawn room to be shot like one entire server I went to was doing...they seemed to be baffled when I introduced the concept of "winning" to them single handedly several times..I suck at all the other maps though apart from militia which I get by on....
HATE tundra.

Nice to see fellow developers and mods getting in on the off-topic action.

I'm nowhere near that good, although my crap ass Radeon card doesn't really help matters much. It's supposed to be good, so I always convince myself to play every game in an insanely high resolution... boy, is it ever a kick in the nuts when I have to go all the way back to 640x480 :P
