Well, here's what my imagination came up with for a phpBB Clan logo:

My first ever attempt at the pressed metal texturing effect, I think I pulled it off quite nicely. What does everyone think of the tagline, "bulletproof"? The slogan? The image as a whole?

Feedback is welcome and appreciated, and tweakage is likely. Lemme hear it!

personally, i think you should remove "bulletproof" from the logo. why? it'll make several script kiddies and such determined to find a way to prove that it's not bulletproof. even if they don't succeed, you're in for a hell of a ride. Oracle is using their new slogan "Unbreakable" and the number of attacks that they receive jumped by 1,000/day (i think it was per day, i'm too lazy to look it up).

Heh...even the glock can rule on as_oilrig...you take the little one way vent shortcut down into that dark corridor that the ct's normally go through, (you have to have your gamma turned right up), and you wait at the top of the ramp...the ct's don't see you well enough to realise you are a t, and you use the way the light from below frames them to get your aim...then pop each one in the head three times before they hit the ground
Only map I can get a higher kill than death count on though

This isn't for the board itself, it's for our Counter-strike clan... you know, we're bulletproof, we are the greatest, et cetera, that's what it's referring to.

Coming back and looking at it, it looks really dark to me, I've really gotta lighten it up! But c'mon people, I shouldn't be the only one giving feedback on my own logo

Rule number one of logo creation: simplicity. Even this one is busier than any logo I'd usually make.

Also, I created the metal pattern myself, it was really quite simple. Drew the pattern on a tiny little image. Resized it way up, rotated it 45 degrees, and resized it way down, so that it was all nicely anti-aliased. That was it.
