Update attachment

Hi,

Does anyone know how I can upgrade some of the attachments on my forum?

I've got a few corrupted pdf and word files and I'm trying to delete them and add the working file however I'm not sure whats the easiest way to do this?

I know where the attachment files are, but when I removed the files from the file folder and replace it with a none corrupted file (rename the file and remove the extension) it doesn't work.

It seems like I have to change something from DB as well?

Please can you help me as I'm new to phpBB.
