phpBB 3.1.10 RC1 released

phpBB 3.1.10 RC1 released

Release highlights
  • New features
    • Check phpBB version constant against config version
    • Support extensions in UI tests
  • Notable changes
    • Improved migrator - see https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtop ... &t=2383821
    • Dropped support for MySQL versions improperly implementing FULLTEXT support
    • Users removed from newly registered group when limit set to 0 posts
    • Further hardened checking links and form submissions
  • Notable bug fixes
    • Prevent MySQL error when looking at your posts
    • Q&A CAPTCHA no longer logs error when solved
    • Min/max form values no longer preventing update of avatar settings
    • Fixed fatal error when upgrading from 3.0.x
    • Limit prunes per cron for large forums
The packages can be downloaded from our package archive. Please test the packages to extend, so we can have a stable final release.

No CSS changes? Cool! Makes updating to 3.1.10 with my custom style that much easier! :D

Another Q, I can't find the ticket for this:
Prevent MySQL error when looking at your posts - Wrong column was selected in certain cases.

That's why, it's listed in the changelog.html file as

Yeah and it's a small fraction of users that will run into that error. There's a strict(er) mode for MySQL that would have to be enabled on purpose for that error to come up.
