No, the page is linked on registration if the user is unable to solve the captcha.Meis2M wrote:Now I can see Contact page here in area51. It seems it's merged thanks. This system use captcha?

Re: [RFC] Contact Page
Observations and suggestions:
- When viewing the contact page as a guest, "Your email address" field should be below the "Your name" field, as that's how it usually is.
- It'd be better if we could only resize the message box vertically or at least give it a proportional max-width.
- We should have a mode to send the message as a private message instead of an e-mail. For v3.2 of course.
- It would be very useful to have a third mode to create a new thread - at a predefined forum - for each message. I can explain the why, if anyone wants to know.

Re: [RFC] Contact Page
I think 2 and 3 would be better as extension. The contact page should be as simple as possible.
And as it has been seen already, the ACP has too many options already.

I assume you meant 3 and 4, right?M.Gaetan89 wrote:I think 2 and 3 would be better as extension. The contact page should be as simple as possible.

There could simply be a dropdown to choose from 3 modes. E-mail, private message and forum post. See how this mod does it.

Re: [RFC] Contact Page
As per M.Gaetan89, this is the reason why extensions are being prioritized. The contact page, as it exists, solves a problem and is sufficient for probably 99% of forums. If you want a more niche implementation, then that's totally understandable: simply install an extension.
