Many of the [RFC] prefixes are being removed from the first post on several topics in the [3.x] RFCs forum.
Is that a bug or a feature?
Where are the [RFC] prefixes going?

These kids today...
Buy them books, send them to school and what do they do?
They eat the paste.

You are suppose to type that in with the subject

It was typed in with the subject. If you look at the replies, they are like "Re: [RFC] ..."*Daniel wrote:You are suppose to type that in with the subject
The prefix was removed, either manually or by a bug of some sort and not just my posts.

Yes the 'RE:' always get put in when you reply. The same would happen with the event prefix on the main forum.Master_Cylinder wrote:It was typed in with the subject. If you look at the replies, they are like "Re: [RFC] ..."*Daniel wrote:You are suppose to type that in with the subject

The "Re:" isn't the clue, it's the [RFC] that follows it...*Daniel wrote:Yes the 'RE:' always get put in when you reply. Look at Arty's RFC, the [RFC] is missing (now) from the first post but not the replies. Get it?

Re: Where are the [RFC] prefixes going?
Exactly, I'm guessing bug though...it's unlikely that a moderator/admin would remove the [RFC] from Arty's post.*Daniel wrote:Yep I do now, must be a bug or someone ate then.

Yes, and I KNOW that I included the [RFC] on mine...so that leaves out user error and I know I didn't edit mine out either. It actually goes back several pages too.*Daniel wrote:And your treads too

Re: Where are the [RFC] prefixes going?
According to the Moderator logs, someone (*cough*MichaelC*cough*) has edited a whole slew of topics in the RFC forum, presumably to remove the RFC tag. Because he has Moderator permissions, the "Last edited" does not automatically show unless "Reason for edit" was filled in. Not entirely sure why this was done but I'll leave that explanation for Michael.
