A few bugs are being worked out that we believe are important to fix for the 3.1-a1 release, you should see something very soon though. :)

That already is available. It's how we upgraded Area 51 from 3.0 to 3.1 ;-)

But please note, that it is NOT recommended to update a live Board to 3.1-Alpha1!!!
