Dunno. I'm clarified, though.

I like the idea I just give it one extra "+1"! The more info we can get our hand on, the more prepared we are to make phpBB the best for our users. All this data sounds particularly useful to be kept into account while coding Rhea.

However, I think the option of sending it automatically should have to be enabled by the admin (add a check box for "send automatically" (or something of that nature)).

Just opened ticket 11080 before seeing this topic - the browser version detection is not the best. Although I'm not sure how the user agent of the submitting member should help anything in the statistics...

When having the option to preview all data before submitting it: add checkboxes, so the user can exclude those which look suspicious to him.

I don't think that information about submitting users browser helps - because when it will be done be the cron (or fake cron), so every user (even BOTs or Guests) can send the statistic. And if real cron is used, there is no browser involved

Gathering Informations on end users browsers may be helpful for style developers to decide if an old browser (like IE < 8) can be deprecated in styles development and other browsers like mobile ones should be respected.
But i think this will make this RCF a lot more work, as creating another table to collect (anonymous) browser information and corresponding functions to maintain this table
