Using same Login for website and phpbb

Hi all

we have webiste. where users can register and login. we also have phpbb forum in our website

after login in to the site user clicks on forum tab which is having followin url

ex: http://www.websitename.com/forum.

when user click on the link they are redirected to phpbb forum .

agin they need to login into the pphbbforum.

Is it possible using same login for both site and forum.

i.e when user singin in to site when they clicks on the
ex: http://www.websitename.com/forum.

they directly need to send PHPBB Home page
