forum moved under a Sub domain / error

Post by disneyjoe7 »

Hello all,

First anyone know when the main forum will be up? Does any forum which had members who didn't sign in by 3.0 have the same problem?

Ok now my problem I moved my whole website to a new Sub domain directory, now I have an error.

Fatal error: ./cache/ is NOT writable. in /home/***/forums/includes/acm/acm_file.php on line 109

I first tried to "Reset the purge the cache" at first it was given me an error also.

I then eased the cache folder items from ftp, then I'm able to Reset the purge the cache without an error.

But I still have that error, and some pictures on the forum doesn't showing I think the error is the problem too.

Thanks

Steve

You should really ask this question here: [Discussion] Downtime and Server Compromise

Seeing as you have moved your forum have you checked that all the folders have permissions set correctly, specifically the CACHE folder, eg: CHMODed correctly?

I did before but I checked it again. Still seen the error on the bottom of the forum.

I did these folders.

>Change the permissions on config.php to be writable by all (666 or -rw-rw-rw- within your FTP Client)
>Change the permissions on the following directories to be writable by all (777 or -rwxrwxrwx within your FTP Client):
>store/, cache/, files/ and images/avatars/upload/.

Entered ADM see a error that said to redo the config.php file to 640, I did and now I got this error and the forum is down.

>Warning: require(./config.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /***/forums/common.php on line 127

>Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required './config.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /***/forums/common.php on line 127

If config.php from anything from 666 it dies it down completely. Gives me an error see below but you are able to see it.

Fatal error: Not able to open ./cache/data_global.php in /***/forums/includes/acm/acm_file.php on line 112

OK, does your config.php point to the right places?

Not sure here's the link error on the bottom of the forum.

Fatal error: Not able to open ./cache/data_global.php in /home/dvrbla5/public_html/4dtv/forums/includes/acm/acm_file.php on line 112

Not sure if ./cache is the root directory.

Did you move your forums to another directory like I did?

It seems to me either the cache isn't writeable or it cannot be found. Please provide us with the information necessary to assist you by filling out the Support Request Template.
