Hi,
I've tried doing that above (i.e) renaming it to forum.
The problems are:
1. When I bring up the login page, it sometimes redirects to my web hosts server login page.
2. When the login page does come up>I login ok>& then it redirects to my web hosts server login page.
3. When I do log in ok without redirecting as above>I try logging into my ACP>it logs in ok & after about 5 secs it again redirects to my web hosts server login page.
Can yous please tell me help to remedy this problem?

did you tried that
acp > server settings >
in script path field it must be /(the new name) you set

To move your new install to a new directory simply go into the admin panel>server settings and change the script path to the new folder name then rename the folder on the server.
