Board index when links (links only) placed in a sub-category

Post by John Hjorth »

If you create a category, and in that particular category create one or several sub-categories, and create links (and links only) in that or those sub-categories, on board index you get :

"Topics, Posts, Last post
0, 0, No posts"

in right part of board index.

This is phpBB 3.0 RC7.

Please see the category named "Olympus ressourcer" on this board.
Please see the parent category here.

- Is this a bug? - It sure looks weird.

I suppose it should show nothing, but you're putting yourself in a very peculiar situation which is, I think, difficult to handle for the software. :)

Hi Nicholas,

Yes I know it's a quite special situation. What I would expect intuitively on board index was the number of redirects totalled up from the links forums in each sub-category. :)
