Re: Suspecting GOLD Very Soon...
Not sure what you mean with the first quotes. What I quoted is the changelog from RC5, that I believe will be included in either RC6 or gold version, whatever comes... What's the purpose of doing just a few fixes now, and push them forward to 3.0.1... And including such changes in the changelog under "Changes from RC5", instead of "Changes from 3.0.0"...
Three clues make an evidence, aren't they?
As for the rest, tuvm, cr. (thank you very much, code reader)
And as we use to say (write?) here, tvtb (that is, ilu).

Security audit? and what does it mean for release date?
some interesting information here:

in short, acyd lets out that a security audit is still something that needs to happen before gold, the audit had not begun yet, and he predicts that the audit may result in an RC6...

"I have no idea" is a better answer...

I'd guess it will be relatively fast - it appears to be an external audit, for which they are paying. Given that people will be spending their 'professional' time on it, I wouldn't expect it to drag on.Nicholas the Italian wrote:Been there, saw that.
