WOW! Life completely stopped? Because of PHPBB? sounds like serious stuff. No telling what might happen if area51 goes down.
Actually, yesterday I got a general error on area51 " Too many SQL connections" for quite a while. Interesting to see that the error system reports multiple PHP-file.
As for my personal life at that moment, I actually faced a near-death experience. No kidding.

Hmm, makes me wonder what is going to happen once phpbb.com comes back up? There will be so many people flooding the site at the same time, it may cause a server overload then we will be back to square 1. <<Homer Simpson voice>>DOH!
I will probably spend most of my time in the support threads and wait a little longer for MOD authors of MODs im 'watching' to post thier updates, if any, or where they left off.
No. I wasn't bashing the PHPBB team at all. I kknow it may have sounded that way. I know that they are working on it and I know it is a free service and I greatly appreciate it. All I was saying is it is ridiculous that the site has been down over a week now and I am sure the team is thinking the same thing. I have been a phpBB fan for the past 3 years and I am with phpBB all the way.
Nothing at all aimed at the team or the site or anyone. No not at all.
