They're all open bug reports, so they all need to be processed.
BUT they're not all bugs.
Statistically, in this phase less than 40% of bug reports cause actual fixes.

I am awaiting the RC1 for end of this month.

Im running live with the current CVS and have no problems yet.

Just noticed that the main phpBB site appears to be down for me. A friend of mine is experiencing the same thing.

I'm not sure if this is a localized problem or if the site is genuinely down, but if it is down, then this together with the way the bugs have been squashed lately suggests that the team is planning something big... and the only thing that comes to mind here is an RC1 release.

The main site has been down now for a few hours. I don't think it has something to do with that, because scheduled maintenace was announced to take place tomorrow saturday, I do not remember the expected time span announced.
