Maybe to edit posts and polls, more nothing...

It really doesn't need AJAX.
VB uses a lot of AJAX and Javascript in General and it's a very slow forum.
There are places where AJAX would be cool to have, but that's only a coolness and convenience factor :)

Hi

enable & disable is a great idea.
maybe a browser check if js is enabled or not. if not take the default scripts without ajax :)
i think ajax upload / vote is great.

inline edit sux because there are many users they will not recognise that this is an editable field.

i would suggest some other addons, like Greybox ( http://orangoo.com/labs/GreyBox/ ) to view User Profiles (but it could also be an mod ;) ) or
Auto Suggest (http://www.brandspankingnew.net/archive ... st_v2.html ) in the ACP (e.g. for user search ).
Forum Statistics (like http://dragan.yourtree.org/blog/en/2007 ... ax-mgraph/ ) etc...

So, why we should NOT use new technologies? ;-)

cheers
klagoggle.
