Then, when it finishes, just delete the file

Well, what is the link to your forum?
If all files are uploaded correctly, just dump "/admin/mods/easymod/easymod_install.php" after you forum directory.
Like this:
website domain here/forum-root/admin/mods/easymod/easymod_install.php

well it says
Critical Error: This version of EM has already been installed. Terminating to prevent reinstallation.
If you are trying to reinstall this version, change the EM version number from the Admin Control Panel under EasyMOD Settings. Or you could also use the EM Version Changer (by GPHemsley) here.

You should do the EM version changer, and then install EM again, which will overwrite the "older" EM.

Then you have to try to get an older version of EM.
Install that, and then install the latest EM.

well all i want to know is how do i restore my data base because my admin panel is down so is there a way i can restore it because this is just to ocnfusing but my admin panel dont work like when you go in it there is a erroe so can i restore it off my ftp or do i have to unistall reinstall and restore the data base...
