but I want to finish my blogmod first before I continue on that mod.
wow, lots of folks working on a blogmod of somekind... this might beat out any other mod in number available.
Surprising, I must say, because it didn't seem that popular for phpBB2
But blogs are highly popular now(though I still think they are quite lame, if I want a blog I wouldn't publish it, I would just put good tips for myself in the future in it and keep it for myself, which kinda takes away the whole point of a blog, but I don't care).

I am now using wordpress for this, but I don't have the amount of control over my blog as I want to. Before that I had one based on phpBB2, and many people asked me what mod I used for my blog. So with phpBB3 comming and, me wanting to write my own blog I thought why not make a mod out of it.
Wow, amazing stuff guys. I look forward to the endless possibilities thanks to MODs for phpBB3.
The ones I most anticipate are Blogging, Wiki and CMS implementations. It would be great to use WordPress and MediaWiki with phpBB3; all seamlessly working together. Of course I know this will probably never happen, but some of you are describing MODs that come quite close to it.
Keep up all the good work and I look forward to contributing sometime in the future!

I'm hoping someone is working on caledar mod.
I second that. It would be nice to see one with birthdays and holidays on it as well as the topics. I like the Topic Calendar, but getting it to display birthdays and holidays is almost impossible. Or at least after all these years of development it still doesn't do either of these.

Yes, Andrew is working on a good calendar MOD.
Is this one currently under development in a place where we can see it? I'm thinking of trying the one by Websnail since Topic Calendar isn't working properly with any of the birthday mods and Ptirhiik doesn't seem to want to offer support for any of those.
Good to see someone else out there willing to give it a shot.

What would really be cool is if we could just integrate the authentication of Wordpress and phpBB. That way users logging into either application won't have to log in again when they go from one to another, keeping user info, etc. I see someone is working on something similar for phpBB 2.0.x.
My ultimate goal, if I ever get any free time, would be to integrate Apache, Wordpress and phpBB authentications so membership sites would have a bit more flexibility.
I finally updated a bunch of my mods and listed them here http://olympuswiki.naderman.de/User:Handyman
I updated the bbcode tutorial since I finally got to test everything and fixed a few bugs that were reported to me.

I'm planning on releasing the small MODs I already done for v2 but since they mostly interact with styles, I don't want to develop them now (and rewrite them later).
You really don't know how much the new template will differ from what we see here and that's why I don't get the point in developing styles for v3 at this point. MODs on the other hand can already be useful because they're ready when v3 goes final.

I just started working on a User Blog mod for phpBB3.
I only worked on it for a few hours today, but so far I have the part where you can add a new blog done(its going a little slow ATM, but I have to relearn a lot from me being with phpBB2 mods recently).
Next step is to create the permissions section, then I will go back to editing blogs and viewing them, after that I just have to package it and I am done(so I need a few more days to a week ).
