DIY:
Upload "db_update.php" to "install/db_update.php" and run it. This updates your database, setting the number of topics a user has. Delete the file once you've run it.

Re: Staff Topioc Mod Error
If you used EM to install the MOD and if there were no SQL Processing errors, you don't need to run the DB Update file on the Topics a user has started MOD if you are installing the same version that I have: Version: 2.0.0e. The SQL query is included in the MOD script and can be run by EM...
Re: Staff Topioc Mod Error
Hmmm.. It worked Thanks. Didn't need the DB_Update. I'll put a note of that incase I have to restart later. I have a unique way to make it easier to re-install them

Re: Staff Topioc Mod Error
Hopefully you will never have to reinstall them. If I had to start over on my forum, I would probably quit since I have installed over 800 MODs on it. I can't even begin to phathom starting over at this point...

Re: Staff Topioc Mod Error
At least since you are using EM to install the MODs, it wouldn't take long to reinstall 30 MODs. Imagine what it would take to start over and manually reinstall those 30+ MODs...

Re: Staff Topioc Mod Error
Yes, without EM, I probably wouldn't have installed more than a dozen or so MODs. With EM, I was able to install everything I ever wanted and more. I can't imagine installing these MODs any other way...
Re: Staff Topioc Mod Error
Oh yeah, forgot to ask. Why does it say Installation Complete! If you restore backups of a mod? Seems kinda weird and can sometimes confuse you.

Re: Staff Topioc Mod Error
Yeah, I agree that's kind of confusing. They probably used some of the same code for Restoring Backups as they use to install the MODs. I've gotten distracted after Restoring Backups on a MOD, then had to scroll down to make sure the last thing I did was remove a MOD rather than install it. Hopefully in future versions, the message will more closely match what had just been completed...
