OK I'm not sure if this is EVEN a forum for help, or what, but i need help, I'm sorta a noob, well a noob to FTP that is, SO yeah, i tried, to install phpbb on my webspace, and it said i had to do something with the FTP, So can someone please help me with this, if i remember correctly it said:
"some file has to transfered with FTP, you can download this file and transfer it on FTP manually"
something like that, ANYWAYS so i donwloaded and installed fireFTP onto my firefox browser, and NOW my problem is when i opened fireFTP I got more confused then EVER!!! soemone please explain and help me with FTP?

just open up internet explorer and go to ftp.yourdomain.extension . then upload the new config file to your /forum or phpBB/ or phpbb/ or forums/ directory
IE sucks, but it's easy for the 'more new kind of people' who step into this

in fireftp, on the left side there is a "Manage Accounts." Click on it and select "New"
Fill out account name, then host, which should be the ftp address, something like ftp.somewhere.com
put in your login and password, then save it. Click connect, which is the button to the right of the "Manage Accounts."
on the left is your computer. on the right is your ftp server.
