Alternatively, if you only want to suscribe to one topic, there is a subscription option near the top of the topic. Kinda gotta look for it though...

Hi,

I read the following:

while viewing a forum (not a topic) look in the upper left corner of the inner frame for "subscribe forum".
try to press it and see what happens.

This is exactly what I need because I am missing responding to new topics in my forum and it is bad customer service not responding to these posts.

However, I don't see a "subscribe forum" option. Is this something I need to enable some where else?

I need to know each time there is a new topic or new post anywhere with my forum.

it is possible you mix "forum" with "board".
the "subscribe forum" is within each individual forum. if your board has, say, 7 forums, and you want notification for any new message on your board, you will need to subscribe 7 times, once for each of the 7 forums.
i don't know of a global "subscribe board" option.
