Installing on offline server

Having problems installing EM? Let's fix that

DO NOT give out any FTP passwords to anyone! There is no reason to do so! If you need help badly enough, create a temporary FTP account that is restricted to only the files that you need help with and give the information for that. Giving out FTP information can be very dangerous!

On page two of the installation you should choose "this is a windows server and I don´t have to worry about ftp access". Port number 21, or 80 perhaps, but try first the second option and port number 21.

Great news!!

I´m really glad for you, I know how alleviating this wonderfull moment is for a beginner.

And now, happy installing, and surely up to the next problem.

But from now on you won´t run into problems without solution, for sure. ;)

Awesome job you guys. I've had a terrible day, so it is good to see that there is someone willing to jump in and help when I'm away. Thanks for helping out Dogs and things and congratulations Acorn on a successful EM install. This is how this community is supposed to work...
