Lol! Ya, that danged CH mod made upgrading rather hard for us didn't it!
But we hacked our way through it and have our once phpBB2 CH(I was using a development version of CH myself) boards running phpBB3.
It was quite a task... and nightmare, there were a lot of problems trying to get the CH MOD over.
The PCP wasn't so bad... as a lot of those features are default for phpBB3, so we didn't lose anything there... well... not much anyways, at least not anything important.

Although, a lot of the bugs were really not bugs.. they might of just cleared out all the support and user errors.
I think this weekend the first RC gone be released. I hope the Final version of phpbb3 comes this month or the next month but i think it's just for the end of this year

I would not count on that although a similar bug squashing mania happend just before beta2. And even if there will be a release soon it could be beta3. We were at similar bug counts when beta 2 was released
Yes but you can never know, let us hope that it is now a RC so we (the webmasters) can start with converting our 2.1.x boards to phpbb olympus (just for testing how easy/difficult it is to convert and what the problems are)
