Citizen Ban [...] You could make it something larger like 15 or 20 votes, and the user would again be put on Probation for a MOD or Admin to look into.

I think this is a very good one. If admins or mods fail to see a troublemaking user, but other users are disturbed by him, they could vote to have him banned, and enter a reason for it. After a certain number of votes, the user would get flagged and the admins could read all the entered reasons and decide to ban him or not. Could prove to be a useful aid for admins, yet it would not lead to abuse, since admin input would definitely be needed for an action to be taken. Same would go with nominating a user for moderator.

I agree... and actually... I would hate to wait until phpBB30.0.x to implement this feature.
I would like to see it as a MOD, and think it could be implemented similar to the "warn post" feature.

To open up stuff, and drag thigns around and post you can just touch your screen and do it

Auto-mod adding tools:
Just click a link and the mod is installed on your forum, no need to open a 'code change' file or anything. This also means there is a auto-security update thingy Fixing your phpBB without you doing a thing, other than a single click, or maybe not even that.

Uh huh, yeah, in case your comp life revolves around phpBB forums

Security Systems:
Checks to see if a topic has intelligent discussion potential
Ability to automatically report users who have more than 1 ban to their ISPs

Topic IQ Detector: detects and calculates the average IQ of the users posting in the topic and displays it next to each topic title. Threads that fail to meet the average intelligence quota get closed.

Transitive Translator: Example - a French guy would read all posts in French, and he would post in French, then a German guy could read the entire forum in German and post in German. The English guy would see all posts in English no matter who posted them.

Censorship Ban: If someone makes a post containing the F-word or other bad words, the post gets deleted and the user gets automatically banned (admin gets notified).

Weather: See the weather conditions in each user's local homeland

Self-Destruct: If the forum goes insane with thousands of flamers, spammers, trolls, etc. the admin could activate the self-destruct sequence. The users would see the timer. The self-destruct deletes all users (except admins), deletes all posts/subforums, and gives the forum a fresh start.

Consensus: If there is more than one admin, all admins must agree on banning a user.

Theme song: When someone logs in, a custom sound plays.

Mandatory participation: If a zero-poster doesn't make one post in 24 hours, their account gets deleted (they can feel free to re-register the same name again).

Forum Union: People could choose their forum software upon login. One person could use vBulletin, another could use Invision, yet a third could use phpBB, and all 3 would see the same threads, posts, etc.

Sorter: Someone could create a topic in the AutoSort forum, a robot would decide what section of the forum the topic belongs in based on keywords.

Status: You could know what a user is doing at a moment in time (sleeping, using the bathroom, watching TV, doing homework, at work, at school, etc.)

Lie Detector: If somebody says something like "Polar bears are purple", or even something like "The President of the United States is Joe Blow", then a robot can figure out and correct the information, "Polar bears are white", "The President is George W. Bush". As years go by, the name of the president can be automatically changed as new presidents are elected.

oooh! I like this one... I would like to see it by phpBB6 though.

Warned perhaps, banned on the first bad word may be a bit severe. But excellent for kids-forums.
Though on other forums, after a certain number (and certain number of warnings) the user could be automatically banned and the staff notified.

Handyman has already created the Weather MOD for phpBB2 and plans to do an advanced-smart version for phpBB3, already in-progress, it's looking really nice, I must say.

I can only see 3 of those not being able to be done, (Brain-link, Life Avatar and SuperFonts obviously), have given me a few ideas for MODs actually hehe..

All the audio ones are possible but wouldnt work as expected..
