I think i have to clear up a thing. Custom BBCodes were never meant to replace HTML. It is only meant to give your users some handy things (strike bbcode for example), but not for doing complete HTML replacements.Lieutenant Clone wrote: Ok so if BBCode is the perfect solution, and and HTML can be made with BBCode... we are now limited by 31. So not all html tags can be made into BBCode, not to mention the different combos you could make with CSS and such, so really we are screwed .

Honestly, it's really fine that HTML is no longer supported. It was nice to be able to enable some things like tables etc.
But now that BBCode can do it more elaborately, that's better, more secure, etc. But I agree with LT, it does suck now that we are limited AND we no longer have the option of allowing select HTML.
On the other hand, I realize you guys are working on a way to increase that limit...???
Okay, so now that I have reached the limit at 11
Are the BBCode ID's stored in the DB, so I can go change them to give myself room for the extra 9ish?

Ya...getting rid of HTML is a good idea.
(though I think it would have been better set as a permission...then admins or very trusted people could use it...but then again, I never have used the HTML on my own forums )
The captcha is also coming along nicely...but they said that they will have to cut some of the options out.
