I think there is a glitch in my code. The negative of light colours is returning another light colour instead of a dark colour.
With that fixed colour blind people should be able to see it better too. You can see the 'w2b' perfectly.
I'll rewrite it properly sometime and see if I can fix the problems.
The problem with 99.9% of Captchas is that they have a background and a foreground and they use various techniques to merge the two together.
This makes them pitiful against someone who knows what they are doing.
My Captcha doesnt have a forground and its based completely on one thing computers cant predict: Randomness (or psudo-randomness).
The letters arent consistent in any way. They are just made up by contrasting shapes which are put together by our brain.
Lieutenant Clone that one still has the same angle flaw. A bot can still just eliminate the lines whose angles dont conform.
A smart bot could even use the rubbish lines to improve its accuracy and speed.

Re: New CAPTCHA
I have seen a few odd ones.
Both of them are a little hard to read but I think the first might be able to cut up the bots.
First: captcha
Second: rawr

Re: New CAPTCHA
Heh, I just installed the latest version...wow...small bug...
if you enable the VC, but you disable all the Captchas, its not possible to register...no VC image comes up, and if you don't enter anything in when you register for the confirmation code, you can't register( it says "The confirm code you entered is too short." )

( I will report it though
I was just playing with the 3D Captcha...IMHO, I think it is the best...I can get it right 99% of the time(the only problem would be with a 0 and an O )...

They closed my bug report on it...they said it wasn't a bug.
Re: New CAPTCHA
If you disable all captcha options then you can register by writing anything as confirmation code.

Re: New CAPTCHA
it seems to me that any user who is silly enough to enable captcha and then disable all captcha policies deserves what they get, somewhat.
Words other than silly probably apply, yes?
