Interesting how the closer we get to the release the more people seem to come out of the woodwork

Yeah, I'd be one of them. =Pstubbers wrote: Interesting how the closer we get to the release the more people seem to come out of the woodwork![]()
Although, my community hasn't been up for that long yet, so sinking into phpBB I finally heard about Olympus and it's 2+ year development.
Kinda glad, because now I don't have to wait as long- they've already got so much work done and I didn't even know about it until recently.
That being said, I am eagerly checking the commit logs daily and I've noticed that the changes have slowly become less and less major things. Whenever there is a major thing, it's something huge and the commit modifies at least 10+ files.
Continue the great work, developers!

Same, except that I have been a little more active before this happened. I used to check the CVS daily, until I realised I needed a life...

Because, semantically, it makes more sense. "Everyone" was not used to super moderators...the majority of people who use phpBB probably don't have a clue, let alone people unfamiliar with phpBB at all, or forums at all. It's an issue of usability. Those who are used to "super moderators" can fairly easily change their framework to understand "global moderators" while users new to the concept will have better hinting to the purpose of this special mod.NNO-Stephen wrote:maybe, but everyone was used to Super Moderators (and quite frankly it's like they're superheros instead of villains :pthe_dan wrote:Far more logical, to be honest.NNO-Stephen wrote: and why did acydburn change super moderators to global moderators?
