Re: A mod!
Thanks for the info Acyd. Would that mean that I'd have to write file copy statements? I assume that the (huge) phpBB manual will have a chapter about adding modules.

Yeah, I agree with that.EXreaction wrote: I don't know about you...but I would rather not let people know if they are on my friend/foe list(not like I am going to use it anyways...but if I did)...they would just bug me about my choice somewhere else...![]()

Re: A mod!
My little MOD didn't die yet. I've added two new modes (Neutral Mask and Relations) and though the feature most people requested (ability to turn this thing off) is not in there I will add it once Olympus reaches beta. I've also added a (hopefully) valid MODX *.xml file.
The Neutral Mask mode is something I didn't add the first time but is IMO logical to have. It shows the users you have on your Friend/Foe lists that don't have you on their lists.
The Relations mode tries to find a relation to a given user. The picture describes it best. As I've forgotten to tell before I'll tell it again. The modes may be installed seperately and in different categorys. This time my mod has it's own category but it can be easily changed. It is actually not a feature of the MOD itself but the module system's.
I just might add that the MOD worked on all the CVS versions I've tried so you might actually risk it and try it out

Re: A mod!
What about an ACP module which uses GD to draw a social net of all users?
Friends = connected
neutral = no influence on the image
Foe = greatest possible distance (of course a friend relation via other users might move them together a bit closer)

Re: A mod!
That diagram is extremely confusing.
If you look on the top one on the left side(ignore everything else for a sec), it says
Admin is a friend of test...
Does that mean that test has Admin in his friend's list? Because that is what it sounds like...

Re: A mod!
Well the arrows were supposed to whow in which direction it goes but you are right. I as the creater don't see anything complicated about it.
How would you change it? Or should I just swap the sides?

Just thought of this: Maybe I'll just drop the "is" and "of/to". Then somebody who sees it will just look at the arrow.
It's supposed to mean the opposite. It was so simple in my language fileEXreaction wrote: Does that mean that test has Admin in his friend's list?

@EXreaction:
maybe some kind of arrows would show, in which direction the friendship is given.
