Who has been "waiting" the longest??

Since my joined date

haven't been keeping track, just noticed that was two years ago with some change.

Heck, I remember setting up the one main forum I'm running with phpBB 1.4, as just an experiment back then. At around the same time 2.0 RCs were starting to come out and as the board was an experiment back then, I had to make the decision to go for 2.0 then, or wait until it would go gold, but then running the risk that my board had grown beyond an experiment by then. Suffice to say I went for the RCs so I wouldn't have upgrade problems later down the line, and the board has been running 2.0.x ever since. Been waiting for the next big version ever since, especially since hearing some of the great features it would have

About a year and a half.. It has been realy interesting to see it evolve.

To tell you thr truth, I have not been waiting long at all(though it still seems like a long time)...I never even knew about phpBB before last summer...and I didn't learn much about it till I tried installing it around August last year...and I have been waiting for phpBB3 since around November/December last year...

...and looking back at all I have learned since then...I would never have imagined that I could have learned as much as I did in that time...and even though I think I know very little about php, its a million times more than most people. 8)

Time really flies by when you are learning something new.
